Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. - -Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire
ACLS and PALS certifications within one year of hire
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of VA, or eligibility to sit for the NCLEX exam, or Compact licensure as a Registered Nurse, and in good standing with the Board. - -Ability to be on-call and respond to facility within 30 minutes of notification - -Minimum Education
