The schedule for this internship is for approximately 32 hours/week. This is a 12-month program of learning and job experience for job seekers who have a documented disability.Primary DutiesReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. These duties and responsibilities will be rated on the Annual Performance Review.

  • Support IT asset Inventory.
  • Responsible for set up of new systems and rebuild of old systems.
  • Set up end user profiles.
  • Install/configure software and firmware updates.
  • Contact vendors for hardware support.Additional Responsibilities
    • Schedule and deploy systems to end users.
    • Assist end users with logging to systems.
    • Enter support tickets and answer phones.
    • Field incoming requests for support via phone, e-mail, and in-person to ensure courteous, timely and effective resolution of end user issues.
    • Perform other responsibilities as assigned.Qualifications: Education, Experience, and Certification(s)
      • High School Diploma or a General Equivalency Diploma (GED) required.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
        • Knowledge of basic computer hardware, including installation and troubleshooting.
        • Experience with desktop windows 10 and server operating systems
        • Proficient written and oral communication skills.
        • Proficient interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport-building, listening, and questioning skills. Strong documentation skills.
        • Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language.
        • Highly self-motivated and directed. Keen attention to detail.
        • Good customer service orientation. Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
