SUMMARY:The Parts Sales Manager is responsible for managing the parts department to return a satisfactory profit on dealer capital invested. Accomplish objectives through the use of proper purchasing procedures, inventory control, staff utilization, security, pricing, merchandising, displaying, and advertising. - Bachelor's degree (BA) from a four-year College or University
- Four to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
- Valid Driver's License required
- Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certifications required
- Medium/Heavy Truck Parts Specialist Certification required SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Directly supervises 6-12 employees in the Parts Department. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
