Join us!Job Description:This job is responsible for overseeing assigned areas of audit work acting as an Auditor-in-Charge (AIC), and executing on the audit strategy for Lines of Business (LOBs). Key responsibilities include driving risk-based auditing by defining scope and test procedures to evaluate the control environment in conformance with audit policies, assessing issues for business impact and recommending severity ratings, drafting audit reports, and managing business partner relationships.   • Executes audit strategy for the sound application of risk-based auditing by defining audit scope and audit programs, and drafting audit reports leveraging automation and innovative methods in a timely and high quality manner
  • Acts as Auditor-in-Charge (AIC) by overseeing audit testing and ensuring it is executed in a timely manner and conforms with quality standards, audit policies, and procedures
  • Assesses impacts to business processes, controls, and strategies to provide recommendations on severity ratings and escalate broad themes or trends accordingly based on existing business knowledge
  • Exercises intellectual curiosity and judgment to effectively influence and challenge management to improve the control environment and drive continuous improvements on audit
  • Oversees a team of associates and provides day-to-day mentoring and guidance and fosters an inclusive work environment
  • Maintains business partner relationships, primarily with line management, to develop business knowledge
  • Exercises sound knowledge of product, business, and technical expertise to effectively challenge management to improve the control environmentThis job is responsible for independently performing test work during highly complex audit activities for Lines of Business (LOBs). Key responsibilities include independently designing and executing audit tests, assessing issues for business impact and recommending severity ratings, and establishing business partner relationships. Job expectations include evaluating the control environment, fostering an inclusive work environment, applying product, business, and technical expertise, and supporting team members with development.Responsible for audit coverage/testing of key areas and activities across the CFO organization including accounting and financial reporting, SOX, SEC reporting (10Q/K, Annual Proxy), ESG Reporting and Non-Financial Regulatory Reporting (NFRR).         • Greater than 7 years experience in a related role
        • BA/BS or equivalent. CPA, CIA, CISA or similar
        • Specific subject matter expertise in audit and the financial services industry.
        • Strong critical thinking, communication and project management skills with attention to detail
        • Ability to learn complex subject matter, understand regulatory requirements, and build testing programs to ensure compliance and mitigate risks
        • Proven track record of executing multiple projects concurrently and delivering high quality work to meet tight deadlines
        • Ability to lead, coach, and mentor junior team members and influence their careers
        • Ability to build a strong rapport with line of business management and provide impact without impairing independence
        • Strong interpersonal skills and effective communicator, both orally and in writingDesired Qualifications:
          • Financial Statement Auditing and Consulting experience,
          • Experience in evaluating workflows/ systems/ data mining
