What You Will Do:
Under the supervision and guidance of the Director, M&A and Strategy and the Technical Manager, Strategy & Fundamentals, the Sr. Analyst will be responsible for the following activities:
- Support establishing the business case for new asset or portfolio acquisitions and/or divestment initiatives.
- Provide project management support for ongoing acquisition or divestment processes.
- Support the research of power industry fundamentals.
- Track and report on relevant industry activity; maintain new acquisition opportunity database and other screening tools.
- Interact optimally with personnel across the organization and externally.
Who You Are:
- You possess a university degree with 2 or more years of relevant experience. Equivalent combination of education and experience would be considered.
- Experience in business evaluation, strategy or research.
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of North American power industry considered an asset
- Prior experience in commercial development, acquisitions, consultancy, market research and/or operations of infrastructure assets would be beneficial.
