Worth, TX, has initiated a national search for a board certified/board eligible child neurologist to join the faculty of the Jane and John Justin Institute for Mind Health as a Neuro-Hospitalist.The Institute for Mind Health provides a single point of care for children with disorders of the nervous system. The Institute's Vision is to uphold the Promise of Cook Children's, by providing easily accessible, well-coordinated and comprehensive evaluation and treatment - guided by innovation, research and a relentless dedication to improving patient outcomes and quality of life. The Institute opened in October 2023 with > 100,000 sq feet of clinical space and will include the departments of Neurology, Neurosurgery, Neuropsychology, Psychiatry, Psychology, Developmental Pediatrics, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and Pain Medicine.Position Specifics: - 50% inpatient unit coverage

- Join a group of 20-Pediatric Neurologists. Enjoy support from 8-Advanced Practice Providers, 3-Pediatric Neurosurgeons and 4-Neuropsychologists.
- 10-bed epilepsy monitoring unit and active epilepsy surgery program (average 40 surgeries/yr).
- Available technologies include 3T and intraoperative-MRI, Magnetoencephalography, PET, SPECT, fMRI, TMS, and HD-EEG.
- Expertise in minimally invasive surgical procedures including Stereo-EEG, RNS, Laser Interstitial Thermal Ablation, and Endoscopy.
- Specialty clinics for ketogenic diet, genetic epilepsy, genetic research trails, and genetic treatments for neuromuscular disease, infantile spasms, and adult epilepsy transition of care.
- Dedicated Neuro-ICU with 10 rooms wired for EEG monitoring.
- 26-bed state-of-the-art Neuro-Rehabilitation unit located next to the Neurosciences offices.
- Established comprehensive headache program, stroke program, and movement disorder program.
