In your role as a Strategic Sourcing Specialist - Indirect Materials, you will be responsible for the strategic sourcing activities for Instrumentation & Electrical, Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers along with providing strategic input as needed for tier 3 suppliers within Olin's -Chemicals division. Additionally, this role will manage the execution of all contract documents and issuance of all purchase order related materials and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure that quality, product stewardship, customs, and tax requirements are met. -Strategic Sourcing Specialist Essential Functions:Leads all RFx activities for instrumentation and electrical sourcing engagements and performs those activities for the North American region.Strategic sourcing management of approximately $50-$100 million in annual spend.Assists with the development of negotiation strategies from initial supplier contact to agreement execution and administers current agreements by negotiating change orders, executing contract extensions, resolving administrative issues, and updating SMS/SAPManages supplier claims and associated resolutionsCollaborates with strategic partners to develop and manage key performance indicators and quality assurance processes as well as working with internal and external stakeholders to identify and leverage contract value opportunitiesCalculates and reports actual and projected sourcing savings by spend categoriesDelivers procurement impact savings in accordance with yearly category objectiveStrategic Sourcing Specialist Position Requirements:Bachelor's Degree*; Supply Chain, Business or related discipline preferredMinimum of 3 years' experience in utilizing the strategic sourcing processExperience sourcing Indirect Materials for various manufacturing sites strongly preferredAbility to manage the strategic sourcing process along with the negotiation of strategic supplier agreements to maximize value and drive cost reductionDemonstrated ability to quickly assess key points and communicate in a clear and concise manner to key internal and external stakeholders as well as senior leadershipPrior Olin experience in a relevant position preferredGrow your career where you are rewarded and valued.Who We AreSince 1892, Olin Corporation has steadily grown to become the industry leader in both chemicals manufacturing and ammunition. -The three divisions of Olin Corporation, Olin Chlor Alkali Products and Vinyls, Olin Epoxy and Winchester, employ approximately 8,000 global team members in more than 20 countries with customers in nearly 100 countries around the globe. *Degree must be from a school that is accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by the Secretary of Education of the U.S. Department of Education or equivalent program from an international university. - - -Olin does not provide any form of sponsorship. - We will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States. - Individuals with temporary visas such as E, F-1, H-1, H-2, L, B, J or TN or who need sponsorship now or in the future, are not eligible for hire.
