Title: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)Description:We are looking for a knowledgeable and compassionate nurse to join us in serving lives through one-on-one patient care in a home environment. Maxim offers comprehensive training to all of our nurses, including new graduates, to ensure our caregivers are able to provide exceptional services and quality of life strategies, while building their own experience and professional growth.Position Details:The essential nursing tasks for this patient may include:Enteral Feed/Feeding Tube ManagementTracheostomy Care (Training Provided)Ventilator Care (Training Provided)Responsibilities:Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient carePerforms focused interview to identify specific patient needsAssess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psycho-social changes in the patients conditionCollects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnosesOther Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) duties as assignedQualifications:Current Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) state in which the Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) practicesCurrent Health Certificate - completed within the last 6 monthsCurrent BLS cardPPD test, or Chest X-ray completed within the last year (available in office if needed)Reliable transportationOne year prior Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) experience is preferred, but not requiredAbout Maxim Healthcare ServicesMaxim Healthcare Services has been making a difference in the lives of our patients, caregivers, employees and communities for more than 30 years.
