About the Role: We are looking for a Complex Clinical Specialist to join the National Complex Clinical Specialist team in the Medical Products Division. In this role you will help facilitate the introduction and education of new and exciting treatments to physicians and clinical staff. You'll join a dynamic team where your contribution will be critical to the success of the team's mission. In this role, you will support commercial and clinical trial complex cases in the United States; sell and promote Aortic/Endovascular existing and new products in all areas and applications. This role will cover the territory of all of the United States; the candidate must reside or be willing to reside in Dallas or Houston, Texas or surrounding areas. This is a remote position, and you can work from home in most locations in Dallas or Houston, Texas, or surrounding areas. Responsibilities: - Be the Gore product and technique expert to prepare for clinical cases, leading physicians and staff through complex procedures
- Recognize the importance of building and maintaining strong interpersonal relationships with teammates and customers
- Assist physicians in patient screening, case planning, and device selection, including participating as key member of Aortic Clinical Trials (ARISE II and ARISE III as example)
- Provide on-site, real-time guidance during clinical procedures and proactively prepare contingency plans to address unforeseen, complex clinical situations
- Provide technical support during complex clinical EVAR, TEVAR and Branched cases
- Educate physicians and Associates on existing and new device training, handling, implantation and troubleshooting techniques related to successful procedural outcomes
- Provide in-services, hands-on benchtop and simulation-based training to Surgeons, Nurses, and Vascular Surgery and Interventional Radiology Fellows as an integral participant in new product launches nationally, including potentially being present for all first and training cases
- Identify therapy adoption opportunities in collaboration with Field Sales Associates and Sales Leaders in geographic territories
- Be energized by working as a member of a world class implantable medical device organization and collaborating on cross-functional teams
- Utilize advanced technology for case planning, film reading and field training (master TeraRecon software, simulators, etc)
Required Qualifications: - Minimum of 3 years experience in one of the following: nursing, radiation technology, operating room or cath. lab, or radiology/cardiology departments
- Prior endovascular clinical or sales experience
- Track record of successfully adapting schedules to support complex clinical cases, both commercial and in clinical trials
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to flex in support of changing product and project commitments
- Current, valid driver's license
- Demonstrated ability to apply medical, surgical, and interventional skills and terminology
- Ability to perform the responsibilities of this role at our customer locations, which includes meeting vendor credentialing and hospital access requirements for healthcare professionals, relative to immunizations (which may include a requirement to provide proof that you are fully vaccinated with one of the COVID-19 vaccines)
- Ability to travel up to 90%, potentially including nights and weekends when necessary and must reside or be willing to reside in Dallas or Houston, Texas or surrounding areas
