Responsibilities:

--- Appear in court on behalf of clients and argue motions during legal proceedings
The attorney will be responsible for all aspects of clients' matters including:
--- Meeting with the boss (heretofore called the "Client")
--- Devising strategies focused on providing value to the boss
--- Finalizing and customizing documents through technology and as efficiently as possible
--- Drafting pleadings aimed at satisfying the jury charge
--- Supervising and delegating work to paralegals and assistants so lawyer time is maximized
--- Preparing for and attending hearings and trials with the information and evidence at your fingertips, etc.

Qualifications:
--- Be an active member of the Texas Bar
--- Have 7+ years' experience in either Commercial Litigation, Corporate work, Real Estate Litigation, and Business Disputes.
--- Have Jury Trial Experience, second chair is acceptable.
--- You should be a self-starter, a quick learner, and have a solid ability to work both independently and with a team.
--- Creative problem-solving, flexibility, and an ability to prioritize are important.
--- Have excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
--- Have solid computer and time management skills.
--- Demonstrate a high degree of discretion, confidentiality, and integrity in the handling of personal client information, including following the Rules of Professional Conduct.
--- Demonstrate a strong work ethic with high standards for quality of work.
--- Be able to interact with our clients, colleagues, and co-workers in a compassionate, personable, and professional manner.
--- Skills and experience are required and valued, but attitude, character, personality, and integrity, are also important. High-maintenance, humorless or self-important individuals will not succeed in this position and should not apply.
