Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking a Specialty Products Equipment Engineer to join our team located in San Antonio, TXThe Specialty Products Equipment Engineer will be responsible for providing design/ production support for specialty gas equipment engineering needs across the LG&E organization.Specialty Products Equipment Engineer --- Take an active lead in basic equipment designs. --- Ensure export compliance SOPs are always followed and are audit ready.--- Support Production with Fabrication drawings and ability to make changes. --- Perform site visits to customers to review specifications for new equipment designs and/or troubleshoot existing equipment designs. --- Interphase with global affiliates on equipment designs and specifications. --- Perform time studies to gain productivity savings. --- Build strong customer relationships and customer management plans with equipment department.--- Provide technical field support to internal and external customers. --- Maintain BOM, SOP, customer/prospect records.--- Manage certain aspects of the production process (answering inquiries, pricing, negotiating, entering sales orders). --- Partner with plant staff to ensure proper levels of customer service.--- Report information to Manager concerning general market dynamics, competitive activities, and pricing trends. --- Develop and monitor application development programs.Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in mechanical engineering required.
• At least 5 years of professional equipment engineering in the following areas is preferred: Gas Cabinets, Valve Manifold Boxes, PLC Systems, and Specialty Gas Handling Equipment
• Auto Cad experience required
• Self-motivated and results-oriented
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
