Minimum Qualifications Minimum Education: High School graduate or equivalent. Graduate of a surgical tech program and/or current Surgical Technologist certification. Successful completion of an accredited Surgical First Assistant Program. CAAHEP accreditation preferred. Minimum Experience: A minimum one year experience required. On-call required. Certification/Licensure: Current Surgical First Assistant certification required. Current CPR Certificate required. Certification or completion courses must meet the standards of Memorial Medical Center. For New hires: BLS certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment. If currently certified, must maintain current certification. Certification or completion courses must meet the standards of Memorial Medical Center.
