Job Description Work alongside a highly motivated team of software engineers and quant developers, implementing change in the financial industry Get to work on cutting edge technology and be part of modern software development practices (e.g. agile and self-sufficient teams, continuous integration and deployment, test automation, cloud-based infrastructure and tooling) Develop and maintain innovative, high-performance monitoring tools serving regulatory purposes (Dash, Metabase, Datadog, ...) Build near real-time interactive dashboards and alerting systems overlooking the risk exposure in tens of thousands of positions Choose tools for storing and processing vast and growing datasets Handle diverse data sources and datasets Assess data quality, implement, and uphold data health standards Work closely together with quant developers Design and implement interfaces with major internal services to connect the Scalable Capital asset allocation engine with the world Create the next generation wealth management and brokerage services for everybody Support investment managers, trading and backend IT-implementation Qualifications Excellent university degree in computer science, mathematics, natural sciences, or a similar field Experience with Python Dash is a must Excellent knowledge in data-driven business applications Exposure and interest in our tech stack: Python, DevOps, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), SQL (Java & Kotlin are a plus) Experience with cloud providers like AWS First hand experience as a developer in a professional team Solid knowledge of software development and software design in Python A soft spot for automation and clean code Excellent communication skills that are clear, concise, and targeted towards your audience - engineering, product, or other stakeholders Advanced knowledge of Relational Databases / SQL Fluent English language skills (written & spoken) Proactive and independent working style, good time management, fair play Preferred skills Passion for the global financial markets Experience in quantitative modelling and data-driven decisions We would be happy if youd write to us in the "message to the Hiring Manager" section about what excites you about the role and why you think you would be a great fit!
