- UT Health Tyler, the flagship hospital of the system, has 502 licensed beds specializing in advanced acute care medicine. Our hospital includes a 24-hour ER with Level 1 trauma center, a comprehensive stroke center, more than 500 physicians and a full complement of sub-specialty -groups.

Responsibilities - Responsible and accountable for the practice of Nursing for assigned patients or tasks via a remote interface.
- Must be able to manage multiple technology platforms and develop collaborative relationships with patients, families, physicians and other staff via remote platforms.
- Adheres to policies and procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
- Validate remote data is being received on all applicable patients into the remote monitoring system.
- Validate patient name, room number and remote ID are consistent and correct between the remote monitoring system and the EMR.
- Escalate remote monitoring alerts via the facility algorithm and document outcomes.
Qualifications - Minimum of three (3) years' experience in medical/surgical inpatient nursing
- Current RN license or current license deemed acceptable by the applicable State Board of Nursing.
- Current multistate license to practice as a registered nurse (RN) or obtained within 6 months
- Maintains current BLSPreferred
