About the Role

As a Registered Nurse you will impact the lives of our residents through providing professional nursing care.

What You'll Do

As a member of our team you will have an impact on our clients through accomplishment of the following responsibilities:

* Ensure compliance with state and federal nursing care regulations.
* Plan, organize, and lead nursing personnel in providing quality care.
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to execute elder care policies.
* Develop and train staff with a customer-focused approach.
* Conduct rounds for assessment, care completion, and evaluation.
* Supervise, evaluate, and provide direction to direct reports.
* Support professional growth and communicate goals and objectives.
* Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to confidentiality.
* Mentor and guide C.N.A. to foster a team environment.
* Work cooperatively with therapists to ensure quality care.
* Administer prescribed treatments, including injections and testing.
* Ensure adherence to individual service plans and provide necessary care.
* Assist C.N.A. with elder care and household tasks as needed.
* Record vital signs and maintain accurate documentation.

What You'll Bring to the Team

To be successful in this role and a great addition to our team we need you to come with the following:

* Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
* Must have a current licensure by the Texas State Board of Nursing.
* Experience in supervisory or leadership capacity in a hospital or long-term care facility, and/or geriatric nursing preferred.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
* Empathy, patience, and compassion in caring for older adults.
* Proficient computer skills for documentation and communication purposes.
* Requires ability to maintain confidentiality.
