Showing care for the customer and fellow employees, but not compromising company or personal standards.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBLITIES:Routinely inspect equipment--Inspect building facility systems as scheduled and / or assigned.Inspect facility grounds as scheduled and / or assigned.Inspect process systems associated with building facility systems as scheduled and / or assigned.--Perform Basic maintenance duties--Maintain, operate and diagnose building utilities.Perform preventive maintenance tasks as scheduled and / or assigned.Complete work order tasks as scheduled and / or assigned.Complete master sanitation tasks as scheduled and / or assigned.Respond to maintenance request.Assist with maintenance parts inventory management as scheduled and / or assigned.--Maintain all required maintenance & company records and documents--Operate equipment--Operate, maintain and diagnose fire sprinkler and monitoring system.Operate, maintain and diagnose Hot Water System.Operate, maintain and diagnose Irrigation System.Operate, maintain and diagnose Potable Water System.Operate, maintain and diagnose HVAC System.--Basic Job Requirements--Forklift Operator CertificationMan lift Operator CertificationTrained on Basic WeldingTrained on Basic HVACTrained on Basic ElectricalTrained on Basic PlumbingTrained on fire extinguisher types & useBasic understanding and use of hand and power toolsStrong verbal and written communication skillsBasic computer skills--Miscellaneous Responsibilities--Keep work area clean and free of clutter and debris.Follow all food safety (GMP) and safety guidelines.Attend GMP & Safety meetingsTake out maintenance shop trash and keep locker area clean.Keep personal tools clean, maintained and kept (put away).--Food Safety and Employee SafetyMaintenance personnel shall have a thorough understanding of G.M.P. s and follow accordingly.Maintenance personnel shall have a thorough understanding of Standard Meat Company s Maintenance Program, Safety programs and all Company policies and follow accordingly.Appropriate personal safety equipment must be used at all times.Bump caps, steel toe boots or shoes and hair nets shall be worn on plant premises.Clean frocks shall be worn in production and vinyl gloves as needed.Tools must be kept clean.Under no circumstances shall any equipment safety devices be bypassed at any time.Job assignments shall be made and coordinated by the Supervisor of Maintenance - either verbal, written memo or listed on the weekly maintenance task list.----Essential Responsibility Frequency % Of TimeRoutine building inspection Ongoing 65 %Perform maintenance duties Regularly 30 %Maintain current documentation Always 5 %--EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:High school education or a combination of education and experienceOTHER QUALIFICATIONS:Bi-lingual a plus------PHYSICAL DEMANDS:The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.--FunctionAmount of Time--NoneUnder 1/31/3 to 2/3Over 2/3Stand------XWalk------XSit--X----Use hands to finger, handle or feel------XReach with hands and arms------XClimb or balance--X----Stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl--X--------This job requires that weight be lifted or force be exerted as reflected below.FunctionAmount of Time--NoneUnder 1/31/3 to 2/3Over 2/3Up to 10 pounds------XUp to 25 pounds--X----Up to 50 pounds--X----Up to 100 poundsX------More than 100 poundsX--------WORK ENVIRONMENT:Cold Temperature: More...
