As the Commercial Lines Team Lead, you will play a key role in driving the success of our commercial lines department, overseeing a team of dedicated professionals, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality service to our clients.Responsibilities: - Lead and motivate a team of commercial lines professionals to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and support to team members to enhance their skills and performance.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement strategies for business growth and profitability.
- Oversee the underwriting process, ensuring adherence to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, brokers, and other stakeholders to promote customer satisfaction and retention.
- Monitor market trends and industry developments to identify opportunities for product innovation and improvement.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity in all interactions with clients, colleagues, and business partners.Qualifications:
- MUST Have current property and casualty license in Texas.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial lines insurance, with a proven track record of success.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of commercial insurance products, coverages, and underwriting guidelines.
- Proficiency in insurance software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
