Summary:

Provides patient transportation within the hospital as directed. Obtains venous blood samples and performs various testing in a correct and timely manner according to protocol. Transports specimens/supplies to other departments as directed. Assists Emergency Department nursing staff with other procedures and duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Education/Skills

High school diploma or equivalent
Basic Computer Knowledge
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

Experience


Three months experience, preferably in hospitals is desirable, or an equivalent combination of training all experience.

Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications

Texas Certified Nurse Aide or EMT certification required.

Basic cardiac life support certification obtained within three months of employment and maintained thereafter.

Work Type:

Per Diem As Needed
