Responsibilities
- Delivers radiation therapy treatments.
- Performs manual calculations.
- Fabricates custom shielding blocks.
- Able to perform Q.A. checks adn warm-up Linear Accelerators.
- Maintains constant communicationwith patients and family members to lend support and provide information concerning treatment.
- Ensures that all efforts are directed in constantly improving customer (e.g. patient and physician) satisfaction.
Qualifications
- - Graduate of an approved school of radiation therapy technology or a school of radiologic technology and one year radiation therapy program.
- Must be registered by the American REgistry of Radiologic Technology in Radiation Therapy and licensed by the State of Texas.Preferred - -
