Location:Abilene Regional Specialty ClinicDepartment:Regional AdminShift:First Shift (United States of America)Standard Weekly Hours:40Summary:The Social Worker - LCSW will provide social work services to children and families coping with acute or chronic medical conditions. The Social Worker provides ongoing supportive counseling/clinical therapy aimed at maintaining the functional behavior of families. The social worker assesses families for needed assistance with resource procurement to support the family's effort in caring for their child in either the ambulatory or inpatient care setting.Work Type/Hours: Hybrid M-F 8 am - 4:30 pm. Some travel may be required to outlying regional clinics in Amarillo, Lubbock, San Angelo, Midland, and Waco.Required Education/Experience:

• MSW degree from an accredited school of Social Work
• Previous experience in a hospital setting and prior experience working with children and families is preferred.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required.Required Licensure/Certifications:
  • LCSW Licensure with Texas Behavioral Health Council.
