Baylor Scott & White Memorial Hospital is a 636-bed specialty care teaching hospital and the only Level 1 Trauma Center between Dallas and Austin. Schedule: Full Time 7a-5:30p 4/ 10 hour shiftsCall is Required for this position.Unit Summary We are a procedural area that focuses primarily on adults in both the outpatient and inpatient setting. We help diagnose and treat patients with symptomatic cardiac issues and various forms of heart disease.We have 6 physicians and 3 EP labs we perform our procedures in. In our pre/post area there are 15 beds we use primarily for scheduled outpatient procedures.In the Electrophysiology lab we provide a variety of procedures including:- Ablations (A-fib, A-flutter, SVT, PVC, VT)- Implants (Pacemakers, Defibrillators, Leadless pacemakers, ILR's, Sub-Q ICD's)- Watchman devices- Cardioversions with or without TEE-Tilt table testsWe are a fast-paced, critical care area that provides important, high-quality care and procedures to patients during a very stressful time in their lives.
