We are seeking candidates who desire a family work environment with a passion to serve those who are less fortunate. Our direct support professionals (DSPs) are responsible for the health and welfare of the residents in our care while ensuring a 'family' type home atmosphere.The direct support professional (DSP) serves as a hands-on caregiver to our people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our DSPs perform a variety of tasks for our persons supported in well maintained homes that are owned and managed by Sertoma. As a DSP you will aid our persons served by providing them with compassionate care, encouragement, and instruction throughout their day-to-day life. You will be working at one of our 34 homes located across Knoxville, TN. Each home provides residential services to 1-4 individuals that we serve and support who appreciate your compassionate care for them.
