Avera St. Mary's is currently seeking a Flex Nurse - Registered Nurse (RN) looking to deliver the best possible nursing care in Avera's patient-focused settings.

  • The Registered Nurse (RN) is a licensed professional responsible for the delivery of patient care. -
    
  • The nurse is guided by professional nursing standards. -
    
  • The RN may direct activities of other nursing department personnel. -
    
  • All nursing care functions/responsibilities are based on the ANA standards. -
    
  • Staff is required to perform their duties effectively. -
    
  • Adheres to the Nursing Code of Ethics, Avera's Mission and Avera's Service Excellence Standards.
    
    
    Education and/or Experience
    
    
    
    
    • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing, Associate's Degree at minimum.
      
    • Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
      
    • Equivalent Combination of Education and Experience.
      
    • 3-5 years of experience is required.
      
      
      Licensure/Certification/Registration
      
      
      
      
      • Current licensure with the State of SD as a Registered Nurse or multi-state licensure
        
      • Basic Life Support (BLS) is required for all patient care staff
        
      • NRP is required by 1 year of employment in Women's Center.
        
      • S.T.A.B.L.E is required by 2 years of employment in the Women's Center.
        
        
        
        
        
        • ACLS is recommended but not required.
          
        • PALS is recommended but not required.
          
          
          Work Schedule
          
          
          
          
          • Varied shifts as needed; PRN
            
            
            
            
            • 6:45 am - 7:15pm, 6:45 pm - 7:15 am
              
              
              
              
              Pay
              
              The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience. -
