  • The Physical Therapist is accountable for organizing and conducting medically prescribed physical therapy programs in the hospital, outpatient services and outreach sites to restore function and prevent disability.
  • Helping patients reach his/her maximum performance and assume a place in society while learning to live within the limits of his/her capabilities.
  • Performs all duties and responsibilities in such a way as to demonstrate and support the hospital's Catholic and Benedictine heritage and Avera co-sponsorship values of hospitality, compassion and stewardship.
  • Provides care/service in accordance with regulatory and accrediting agencies standards and Catholic Religious Directives Education and/or Experience
    • Bachelor's degree required
    • Master's degree preferred License/Certification/Registration
      • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the State of South Dakota
      • BLS certification within 30 days of hire Work Schedule
        • 8:00am-5:00pm with wknd and hol rotation; 80hrs/2wks Pay
          
          The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
          • $35.00 - $53.00 per hour
