Job Summary The Registered Nurse is accountable for acute and chronic hemodialysis treatments in caring for patients with end stage renal disease. Performs all duties and responsibilities in such a way as to demonstrate and support the hospital's Catholic and Benedictine heritage and Avera's values of hospitality, compassion and stewardship. - Provides care/service in accordance with regulatory and accrediting agencies standards and Catholic Religious Directives. Education and/or Experience Graduate of a registered nursing education program is preferred. Prefer 6-12 months experience on Med-Surg Unit. 6 months-1 year of experience is preferred. Licensure/Certification/Registration Must have current RN licensure in the state of SD or "multi-state privilege" to practice in SD if residing in a compact state outside of SD. BLS Certification within 60 days of hire. Work Schedule Day shifts; 72 hours every 2 weeks 4:30 am - 5:00 pm, 5:00 am - 3:30 pm Every 3rd weekend (Every 3rd Saturday.
