Shop employees and mechanics are responsible for maintaining our fleet of equipment which includes passenger trucks and heavy equipment.

perform regular and preventative maintenance on vehicles and equipment
adhere to inspection procedures and checklists
maintain detailed service records, daily work logs, work orders, and repair requests
help maintain parts inventory
help ensure cleanliness of the shop
replace engines, steering mechanisms, transmissions, braking, and hydraulic systems
run diagnostic tests and analyze results to determine functionality problems
assemble mechanical components according to specifications
offer consultation on maintenance and preventative procedures to users
design plan of action for all assigned maintenance and repair tasks

Hourly rate to be discussed during interview.

Valid driver's license with good record (this will be verified by HR)
CDL (class A or B) and current medical card a plus
ASE Diesel Certification a plus
Advanced knowledge of diesel engine components a plus
Good IT skills advantageous
