Description Specialization:NeurosurgeryJob Summary:Grand Strand Spine and Neuro Care is looking for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join their team at Grand Strand Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

Job responsibilities include:

• Preoperative assessment, intra-operative assistance, and postoperative care in the hospital
• Preoperative evaluation, postoperative followup, and on-going care in the clinical setting
• Daily rounds, document notes, writing new orders and discharge instructions
• Consults in hospital
• Surgical First Assist experience strongly preferred
  
  • Strong work ethic with an ability to adapt to a variety of work responsibilities
  • Self-motivated to learn and work independently
  • Graduate of an accredited physician assistant or nurse practitioner program
  • Have a South Carolina license or the ability to get a South Carolina license prior to starting
