Date Posted:2024-04-08Country:United States of AmericaLocation:HSC32: US070-Simpsonville, SC 1001 Old Stage Road , Simpsonville, SC, 29681 USAPosition Role Type:OnsiteCompensation:--- 2nd Shift is eligible for a $1.00/hr shift premium--- Eligible for Annual Increases--- Competitive Benefits Package, including first day Medical Benefits.Schedule:--- This position is for 2nd shift but could have training for up to one month on 1st shift--- Monday-Thursday 3:30 PM - 2:00 AM--- Overtime available on a business need basis.Primary Responsibilities:--- Sets up and operates modified textile looms that weave wire and yarn into programmed or straight-run wiring harnesses for military and aerospace applications.--- Run threads through reeds and heddles from creels then over rollers to weave to a pattern.--- Ties on or splices ends to repair breaks in creel.--- Required to inspect for splices in wire coming from the creel to insure they aren't woven into the cable.--- Stops loom and replaces empty shuttles.--- Starts loom and clips off ends of filler close to selvage. Installs specified spools in creel to change over to the next job or product setup.--- Looms are setup using productions forms for the placement of wire and thread to go along with length and width.--- Will be around mechanical machinery, must be able to do small lifting. Must have a good work ethic, attendance is important.Basic Qualifications:--- Typically require a high school diploma with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
