-- Bishop Gadsden located on James Island, is known as the Southeast's leading life care retirement community and is located on 134 acres of lush marshlands and majestic oaks on James Island, just 10 minutes from downtown Charleston! We are currently hiring a--Full Time--Senior Living Marketing Associate--who is responsible for helping to maintain apartment and cottage occupancy through the planning and implementation of marketing programs and cultivation of prospective residents. A Typical Day Can Include: - Assisting with developing and implementing the annual marketing plan in accordance with community occupancy goals and objectives.
- Cultivating prospective residents through written correspondence and verbal communication.
- Leading and supporting activities which develop a culture of welcome and support to potential residents.
- Maintaining effective relationships with community residents.
- Qualifying prospective residents for all community standards.
- Developing relationships with qualified prospects through--reservation and closure of new home.
- Assuring scheduling of move-in is coordinated with all necessary departments.
- Maintaining sufficient knowledge of operation of the--community to give information to residents and their families,
prospective residents and their families, and the general public and community. -- What We Need From a Candidate: - Bachelor's Degree in marketing related field preferred or education, training and experience equivalent and sufficient to perform basic job functions.
- Minimum 3 years, prefer 5 years, in marketing and/or sales experience. Senior Living experience is a plus!
- Previous knowledge and experience working with Client Relationship Management Systems is preferred.
- Ability to make and maintain positive, long lasting relationships.--
- Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, etc.) and ability to
learn specialized programs. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Supervisory experience preferred
