Find your future with us.Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for an Aircraft Painter (Associate or Experienced) to support the 787 Program based out of North Charleston, SC on a Variable Shift. -Position Responsibilities:

• Prepares exterior surface of aircraft for painting.
• Makes necessary patterns, performs layout and applies prescribed primers, paints and finishes to exterior of aircraft.
• Applies aircraft finishes and external markings to aircraft sections. -This position is expected to be 100% onsite. - The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at North Charleston, SCEmployer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Must be willing to work any shift assigned, including overtime.
  • 1+ years of painting experience in aircraft, automotive, industrial, or general painting.
  • Required to wear fall protection gear, safety equipment and masks.Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
    • 1+ years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Aircraft paint experience. -Typical Education/Experience: - Associate (Level B):Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate).Experienced (Level C):Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate+2 years' related work, Bachelor, etc.).Relocation:This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility. -Drug Free Workplace:Boeing -is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies. -Shift Work Statement: This position is variable shift. -Variable shift means you will be placed on a shift at the time of hire based on business needs at that time.
