We are seeking a High Energy, ambitious, and passionate, Attorney to join our growing Plaintiff's firm. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, maintains a strong work ethic, and an eagerness to better themselves and serve our clients. Three years of experience handling injury cases in either the Plaintiff or Defense side is preferred.

Responsibilities:

--- Argue motions in court on behalf of clients during legal proceedings
--- Complete legal research and prepare motions, pleadings, and briefs
--- Prepare various legal documents, such as motions, pleadings, briefs, and correspondence
--- Provide legal counsel to clients by analyzing their needs and determining a proper course of action
--- Supervise administrative staff, paralegals, and law clerks
Key Responsibilities
--- Maximizing the value of cases
--- Maintaining active communication with clients
--- Case management/development
--- Working cases from both pre-litigation and litigation, through disbursement
--- Conducting effective written discovery
--- Taking depositions with purpose and tenacity
--- Performing legal research, drafting pleadings, briefs
--- Drafting and arguing motions

Qualifications:

--- Required Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school; representation of clients for at least 2 years a plus
--- Candidates must currently be a member of their local bar association - active member preferred
--- Able to work independently while handling multiple files
--- Communication, problem-solving, decision-making, interpersonal, and public speaking skills required
--- Strong knowledge of legal research programs such as Westlaw and Lexis products is required
--- Member in good standing with the South Carolina Bar
--- Experience in Personal Injury
--- Ability to work well in a team environment
--- Trial experience is preferable
