You will work with a Care Team of physicians, advanced practitioners and staff providing compassionate and quality care. We have a welcoming environment and believe in strong team engagement. -Website: - -The LVN/LPN is responsible for performing a wide variety of patient care duties which include:

• Assisting in examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a physician.
• Interviewing patients, measuring vital signs (i.e., pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height), venipuncture and procedure as directed by the physician. -
• Documents in the Electronic Medical Record in accordance with IPM guideline.
• Prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients. - Assists in covering the front desk as required. -
• Executes prescribed treatments and medical interventions, administers prescribed medications, and monitors and documents treatment progress and patient response.
• Delegates as allowed under the Nurse Practice Act.
• Refers to and consults with physicians, other health providers, and community resources to prevent/resolve problems or concerns.

  Qualifications
  
  Required Knowledge, Skills, Licensure, Training & Travel Requirements -
  • Completion of LPN/LVN nursing training from an accredited school of nursing. -
  • Minimum of one (1) year college or Technical School. - Associates Degree preferred.
  • Current state registered license for LPN/LVN required. - - - - - - -
  • Current BLS/CPR certification required.
  • Minimum of one (1) years working as a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse required. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
  • Proficiency in basic computer programs and operating systems, such as Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
  • Office equipment such as fax machine, copier and telephone system
