We have a welcoming environment and believe in strong team engagement. -Website: - -The LVN/LPN is responsible for performing a wide variety of patient care duties which include: - Assisting in examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a physician.
- Interviewing patients, measuring vital signs (i.e., pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height), venipuncture and procedure as directed by the physician. -
- Documents in the Electronic Medical Record in accordance with IPM guideline.
- Prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients. - Assists in covering the front desk as required. -
- Executes prescribed treatments and medical interventions, administers prescribed medications, and monitors and documents treatment progress and patient response.
- Delegates as allowed under the Nurse Practice Act.
- Refers to and consults with physicians, other health providers, and community resources to prevent/resolve problems or concerns.
