What you will do here: As an Associate Data Scientist within the Cengage Research Team, you help connect internal and third-party data to develop and drive research and craft actionable insights. You will help develop and improve the pipeline of data and have a leadership role managing data, building analysis, reports, and dashboards. Your work is at the heart of the data and analytics operations and cross business units and product categories to provide transformational market-level understanding. These responsibilities will include: -
Develop, implement, and monitor sophisticated insights and analytical solutions to business questions using a variety of analytical approaches and methodologies in cooperation with Customer Insights Researchers. -
Investigate and apply artificial intelligence solutions for data management, analysis, and reporting. -
Help centralize data in appropriate data warehouse and collaborate with architecture and technology teams to track and enhance data flows and reporting. -
Monitor data / information management processes to ensure data quality and consistency in support of research and business operations. This includes acquiring new data sources and performing data discovery to understand data values and relationships. -
Ensure proper escalation, prioritization, and remediation of data quality issues. -
Collaborate with researchers, analysts, and key stakeholders to identify innovative approaches and data sources. -
Explore and apply new data mining and data visualization tools to conduct ad-hoc analysis as required. Skills you will need here: |
