Please read more about Skills for Rhode Islands Future at the end of this job description.COMPANY NAME: Saint GobainJOB TITLE: CNC Machine OperatorLOCATION: Bristol, Rhode IslandHOURS: 2nd and 3rd Shift; FulltimeKey Responsibilities:Perform set-up for complex/advanced/non-routine jobs with little or no supervisionUse measuring equipment effectively such as micrometers and calipersWork from written procedures and work routersDismantle jigs, tools, and special fixturesMake tooling as necessaryMaintain drawing specifications by monitoring dimensional and visual characteristics to detect non-conformancesHandle raw material and hazardous waste safely and in an environmentally responsible mannerPerform preventative maintenance on equipmentSuccessful candidates will have:High School Diploma or equivalent (will consider candidates with considerable experience in lieu of education requirement)1+ Years Experience in CNC Machining for Mills, Lathes or Grinding, required6+ months experience with CNC Certification and TrainingEffective verbal/written communications skills and organizational skillsMust have strong work ethic, attention to detail, good attendance, and flexibility to work overtime as neededWork in a manner that complies with all site policies and procedures, actively demonstrate SG principles of conduct & action, and adhere to all EHS requirementsHOW TO APPLYFor more information and a full job description, please visit Skills for Rhode Islands Future website at www.skillsforri.com/jobs.
