*REGISTERED NURSE (RN) FOR 13 WEEK CONTRACT IN SUSQUEHANNA, PA!*Local / Travel Contract_We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Long-Term Care (LTC) facility. As an LTC RN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to residents in a long-term care setting. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs of residents are met, promoting their overall well-being and enhancing their quality of life._*$2,050.00 - $2,122.00 per Week*Mids5x8 Hr. Shifts (40 Hrs. per Week) _(Mixed Shifts, 7a-3p, 3p-11p, & Occasional 11p-7a)_*Responsibilities:** *Patient Care:* Provide direct nursing care to residents, including medication administration, wound care, and monitoring vital signs. Assess resident needs, develop care plans, and implement interventions to promote optimal health outcomes.* *Collaboration:* Work collaboratively with physicians, nurse practitioners, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate resident care. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure continuity and consistency of care.* *Assessment and Documentation:* Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents' health status and document findings accurately and timely in electronic health records. Monitor changes in condition and adjust care plans accordingly.* *Patient Advocacy:* Serve as an advocate for residents, ensuring their rights are respected and their preferences are honored. Address concerns and grievances promptly and work to resolve conflicts in a professional manner.* *Education and Support:* Educate residents and their families about healthcare conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures. Provide emotional support and counseling to residents and families facing difficult decisions or coping with illness.* *Safety and Compliance:* Adhere to all regulatory standards, policies, and procedures to maintain a safe and secure environment for residents and staff. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and regulatory surveys as needed.* *Team Leadership:* Serve as a resource and mentor to nursing staff, assisting with training, orientation, and professional development activities. Foster a positive work environment based on trust, respect, and teamwork.* *Emergency Response:* Respond effectively to medical emergencies and crisis situations, following established protocols and guidelines.
