Job Details Level Experienced Job Location Reading - Reading, PA Position Type Part Time Education Level Graduate Degree Salary Range $28.00 - $45.00 Travel Percentage Up to 50% Job Shift Varied Job Category Health Care Description Position Summary: An MT provides individual and family therapy to the child. An MT can assist the family to promote the independence of the family in managing mental health needs and/or behavior problems. An MT develops a crisis plan with other involved professionals and the family. The hours are flexible and you are permitted to work in other agencies. This position has the potential to full time or part time depending on the applicants availabilty. Benefits: Health benefits are effective after a short, 30 days wait period. - Supplemental Life Insurance Summary of Essential Position Functions:
- Provide weekly individual and family therapy interventions to client and family to provide evidence-based or evidence- informed clinical practices and interventions to clients and family members in individual and family therapy sessions
- Collaborate with team members
- Complete all paperwork within policy time frames
- Initiate and attend treatment team meetings monthly with child, family and treatment team
- Attend interagency meetings
- Provide services within authorized number of hours per week
- Attend staff meetings and Comply with all IBHS policies
- Attend sixteen (16) hours of training per year & mandatory trainings as necessary
- Participate in the Comprehensive Biopsychosocial Evaluation/Re-Evaluation/ Addendum by providing pertinent clinical information via, including but not limited to, direct reports, clinical reviews, functional behavioral assessments, completed structured assessment tools, and updated goals, objectives, and interventions in the treatment plan/ resiliency plan/ and behavior modification plan
- If not, a licensed Psychologist you must attend supervision with licensed Psychologist one (1) hour a month
- Travel to and from client sites to perform services (100% travel required)
- Perform other duties as assigned
Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has potential for some clinical supervision. Qualifications Qualifications: To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. - Clinical Psychologist, or
- Clinical Social Worker, or
- Graduate Mental Health degree and at least one (1) year full-time paid experience in a CAASP system (C&Y, JJS, MH, Special Education, D&A) or employed by a mental health services agency (only work with children and adolescents), Post Graduate Degree
- Clearances for Child Abuse, FBI and State Criminal
- CPR/First Aid Certification
