OSPTA Hospice is seeking full time Licensed Registered Nurse to provide services to hospice patients in Uniontown and surrounding areas.FULL TIME ONLY: Our fantastic benefit package includes medical, vision, dental, free long term disability, retirement plan with generous employer match, paid time off, holiday pay, and so much more! Mileage reimbursement or company vehicle provided.* 1 yr of RN experience required* Hospice experience preferred* On-Call as needed backup* Must be willing to travel in all weather conditions* Strong computer and technology skills* Excellent organizational and communication skills* Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team* Active patient contact within past three years, preferred.*RN Qualifications and Skills: *Graduate of an approved registered nursing program; licensed to practice, in the state in which they practice; have good oral and written communication skills; be of excellent health and possess a high energy level; demonstrate a commitment to excellent patient care and customer service.*Knowledge/Skills/Ability:* Ability to work independently, make accurate, and at times, quick judgments. Ability to supervise others appropriately. Ability to respond appropriately to crisis outside of a hospital setting. Acceptance of and adaptability to different social, racial, cultural and religious modes. Completes Hospice training program.*Essential Functions:** Regularly assesses and reassesses the nursing needs of the Hospice patient.* Provides dietary counseling.* Provides Hospice nursing services, treatments and preventive procedures.* Initiates nursing procedures appropriate for the patients Hospice care and safety.* Observes signs and symptoms and reports to the physician and IDG members any unexpected changes in the patients physical or emotional condition.* Teaches, supervises and counsels the Hospice patient and family members about providing care for the patient.* Supervises and trains other nursing service personnel.* Develops and re-evaluates the patient/family care plan in conjunction with IDG to meet needs and maintain continuity of care.* Performs specific nursing procedures as needed (e.g., treatments, management of symptoms) following doctors orders.* Maintains records as required by Hospice.* Coordinates the implementation of the plan of care for patients residing in SNF, NF, ICF or MR._*Full job description available upon interview_OSPTA Hospice is seeking the best RNs to provide the highest quality of care to our patients and compassion while offering end of life choices.
