Job Summary:

To prepare college students for entry into the business world by providing a thorough understanding of the numerous functions of complex health care services organization. The primary incentive in this program is the opportunity to investigate a career opportunity with hands-on experience prior to graduation. Once completed, the intern will have sufficient knowledge necessary to determine if a career in the industry is the right opportunity to pursue.

Internships vary in duration and in assigned work.

Education/Experience:

Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program of study.

Skills & Abilities:

Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite, with strong word processing skills.

Good written and oral communications.

Ability to maintain confidentiality, as needed.

Reliability.

Professionalism in dress and demeanor.

Good organizational and teamwork skills.

Analytical skills.

Willingness to take on projects and learn new skills, with support.
