Close orders on the phone or advance the selling opportunity.
- Determine pricing for all day-to-day sales quotes, following the set pricing guidelines, while communicating and working closely with appropriate field sales to close the sale.
- Determine customer requirements and expectations to recommend specific products and solutions
- Qualify new leads to generate new business working with appropriate field sales.
- Make outgoing calls to customers to provide additional product information to create awareness and gain potential business.
- Foster positive customer relationships and provide exceptional customer service and care while managing day-to-day customer needs.
- Develop and maintain a working knowledge of the price, application, installation, and specification of company products with continual training to provide a basic level of technical support, including suggesting alternative products/services to meet the customer's needs.
- General Account Management: Accurately pricing & processing customer orders, quotations, inquiries, and other requests in an accurate, timely, and proactive manner.
- Identify and communicate late orders in advance of promised ship date promptly and accurately.
- Responsible for resolving problems relating to orders by working with all departments within the company
- Communicates effectively with appropriate departments to obtain pertinent information not available via system means and at all levels of the organization.
- Act as liaison with operations, logistics, marketing, and technical resources for the customer.
- Performs work independently without being prompted while assuming responsibility for meeting the goals and requirements of the position.
- Anticipates problems and proactively addresses issues with little or no supervision in completing assigned tasks
- Must be willing to assist other Inside Sales Representatives, Sales Personnel, and Managers while maintaining a good working relationship with peers.
