Shipping Assistant II - Scranton Pennsylvania

The schedule for this position is on a Monday-Friday schedule from 6:30am to 3:00pm

Main Responsibilities:

• Contribute to accident-free operations and compliance to all health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements and regulations.
• Record location of inventory.
• Record the order number on the shipment and record location on the pick ticket.
• Turn completed pick tickets into the Shipping Office.
• Inspect shipment, for damage and replace if necessary.
• Assist with other duties when requested. Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Demonstrated ability to work within company values
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar position
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong reading, mathematical and comprehension skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work outside in all-weather elements
  • Must be self-directed and motivated and able to multi-task in fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing environment
