The Program Manager is also responsible for overseeing the supervisors, and all staff in the program department. Responsibilities and Duties Specific Duties: - Supervise and direct all aspects of the Program department following the agency mission demonstrated by setting program goals and objectives.
- 6400.44(b)(2) - Participating in the individual plan process, development, team reviews and implementation in accordance with this chapter.
- 6400.44(b)(3) - Providing and supervising activities for individuals in accordance with the individual plans.
- 6400.44(b)(4) - Supporting the integration of individuals in the community.
- 6400.44(b)(5) - Supporting individuals communication and involvement with families and friends.
- Develop, plan, and implement strategies to manage program growth and sustainability.
- Participation in the progress towards meeting Client outcomes.
- Fulfilling the role as Program Manager to ensure that the client's needs are met.
- Compliance with all mandatory and required trainings listed in 6400 regulations.
- Maintaining compliance with Chapter 6400 and Title 55 PA Code CH 51.
- Ensuring all Participant's ISPs are current in their binders.
- Ensure clients Insurance documents are submitted in a timely manner.
- De-escalating dangerous situations using various therapeutic techniques.
- Providing individualized care to each resident based on their specific needs and abilities.
- Supervision of Residential Supervisors and Direct Care Staff.
- In coordination with Residential Supervisors, continually develop and implement plans to improve staff performance, education, and service quality for all Individuals.
- Keeping all contacts and participant's information up to date in Therap.
- Participate in Weekly Program meetings to discuss any concerns or issues.
- Coordinate with the Program Specialist to assist with Client appointments as needed.
- Plan and schedule events monthly to ensure the Community integration goal is met.
- Researching trends and gathering resources on new activities and programs.
- Overseeing the planning and coordination of new activities.
- Plan the agenda, facilitate, and document for program meetings.
- Update Client benefits on Compass or in person at IRED office per client compliance dates.
- Ensure clients Insurance documents are submitted in a timely manner.
- Perform weekly inspections per site to ensure compliance with state regulations, compare your observations with the supervisors to ensure they are meeting weekly inspection needs.
- Update Compliance items as needed to prepare for state inspections.
- Ensure monthly fire drills are being held at each site for compliance with state regulations.
