The Field Services Technicians will be expected to perform confined space entry, work hands-on, and operate a variety of equipment which may include but is not limited to pressure indicators, pressure washers, hand trucks, forklifts, and power tools.Responsibilities:--- Handle, package, and transport Hazardous and Non-Hazardous materials.--- Utilize pressure washer, hydro blast equipment, forklift, skid loader, and specialty vacuum equipment.--- Complete critical path documentation, including manifests, driver logs, job summaries, and permits.--- Communicate with the Project Manager and on-site customers.--- Perform work in confined space entries and utilize mechanics, industrial hygiene instrumentation, pneumatic tools, electrical tools, and hand tools.--- Adhere to requirements of Company policies and procedures, OSHA, and all local, state, and federal laws.Requirements:--- High School Diploma / GED required.--- Must be 21 years or older, due to interstate travel in a commercial vehicle and federal regulations.--- Minimum of 1 year experience preferred.--- Valid state driver's license required.--- Possess 40 HR HAZWOP certification.--- Strong analytical, organizational, and prioritization skills.--- Effectively work in a team setting.--- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.--- Ability to pass a respirator fit test.--- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, including occasional overnight travel.--- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.--- Ability to use sound judgment and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.Our DEI CommitmentCovanta is an Equal Opportunity Employer, has developed an Affirmative Action Program (AAP), and will not discriminate against any qualified applicants because of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability (including perceived disability, physical, mental, and/or intellectual disabilities), veteran status, liability for service in the Armed Forces of the United States, or any other characteristic protected by law.
