About the Role:Overview We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist Set Up - Mills to join our team at our facility located in Hatfield, PA. As a CNC Machinist Set Up - Mills, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC mills, specifically 3-4 axis VMC and 5+ axis VMC machines. You will also be responsible for performing machine setups for production runs. - Perform machine setups for production runs
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications
- Select and install cutting tools and fixtures
- Adjust machine settings to ensure proper performance and accuracy
- Monitor machine operations to detect any issues or malfunctions
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures Qualifications
- Experience with CNC Mill (3-4 axis VMC) machines
- Experience with CNC Mill (5+ axis VMC) machines
- Ability to perform machine setups for production runs
- Knowledge of machine brands such as Kitamura, Dmg Mori Seiki, and Chiron
- Strong attention to detail and ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or machining environment is preferred You should be proficient in:
