Chemotherapy and Administration and Consultation: Administers PO, SC injections, chemotherapy drugs, and other medications as ordered by physician: consults with other medical personnel and may provide expert information about chemotherapy, side effects, etc.:provides a variety of assistance to physicians. Assumes responsibility for clinic specific assignments. Documents patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments, notes all changes in physician orders on assigned patients. Assists physician during conscious sedation patients and in performing minor diagnostic procedures and treatment.
