Responsibilities
- Demonstrate knowledge of sterile technique, sterilization procedures, principles of surgical procedures, anatomy and physiology, use and care of surgical instruments and equipment. -
- Assist the surgical team in accomplishing the plan of surgical care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes.
- Understand the surgery schedule workflow and is available to meet the needs for room turnovers, patient transport, and cleaning.
