Assists in the accomplishment of minor building maintenance tasks which must be performed to proficiency and are listed herein as examples, but are not limited to the following:

--- Minor adjustments and repairs to HVAC, plumbing, electrical, waste systems, architectural and structural building components, doors, windows, floor systems, light carpentry, and roof systems.

--- Cleaning and maintaining of mechanical rooms.

--- Preventative maintenance functions and minor repairs, including changing filters, cleaning cooling towers, heating and cooling coils, and changing fluorescent and other light bulbs.

--- Manufacture, repair, and installation of screens and glass.

--- Sign maintenance to include inspections, replacement (setting/affixing) and painting.

--- Assist in relocating furniture and computers.

--- Ensure all paperwork is completed.

Work involves a variety of the following duties:

--- Replacing electrical receptacles, wires, switches, fixtures, and motors

--- Using plaster or compound to patch minor holes and cracks in walls and ceilings

--- Repairing or replacing sinks, water coolers, and toilets

--- Painting structures and equipment

--- Repairing or replacing concrete floors, steps, and sidewalk

--- Replacing damaged paneling and floor tiles

--- Hanging doors and installing door locks

--- Replacing broken window panes

--- Performing general maintenance on equipment and machinery

--- Prior facility maintenance experience is preferred.

--- Must have current driver's license and a clean motor vehicle report (MVR).

--- Must successfully pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screen and background check.

--- Must be able to effectively read, write, and speak the English language.
