We re still at it today, with Tidy Cats, the lightweight cat litter champion of the world and our new Ultra-Premium brands, Beyond and Just Right pet food.Position SummaryAs a Quality Technician, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and safety of our incoming raw materials for use in Pet Food Manufacturing. Compliance with our factory's food safety program and adherence to NPPC and local policies and procedures will be essential.Primary Responsibilities: Perform sampling, testing, and documentation of incoming raw materials.Conduct corn testing and verify that all grains meet HACCP requirements.Sample ingredients from rail cars to ensure compliance with food safety, regulatory, and quality specifications.Complete sampling methods as defined by quality and safety procedures including working at heights, wearing required fall protection for railcar or truck sampling, etc.Conduct standard Methods testing for the NIR program and finished products as per requirements.Facilitate ingredient-related communications across the organization.Requirements:High School Diploma or GED equivalent with 1+ years
experience working in a quality, food manufacturing, food safety, or related fieldThe approximate pay range for this position is $39,000.00 - $57,000.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.
