Applicants should be eager to lead, do things right, be accountable, have ownership in what they do, and be able to create smiles and stories for our fans.Job Functions:Be an ambassador of the Dairy Queen DQ brand and be professional in every aspect of performanceEnthusiastically greet and welcome fans to the Dairy Queen brandAssist fans with menu navigation and product ingredient questionsStrive to exceed fan expectations and deliver fan first service through timely and quality serviceCalmly solve fan concerns and embrace Dairy Queen's service recovery standardsBe a willing team player and maintain a cooperative, harmonious working relationship with management and fellow team membersPrepare treat products following restaurant, health, and safety standards and proceduresCreate and maintain a positive, safe, clean, and inviting environment for fans and team membersAt all times exhibit a genuine passion for excellencePerform other duties as assigned by managementRequirements:Communicate positively with fans and co-workers constantly during shiftsWork well under pressure packed situations while maintaining a great attitudeComfortable standing for entire shift and able to lift 50 poundsPractice established food handling procedures and meet any local health regulationsExhibit good manners, proper personal hygiene and promptnessHave fun and maintain a positive attitude at all times!Move cases of food/paper products, buckets of sanitizing liquid or cleaner, containers of up to 50 pounds up to 10 times per six-hour shift, stock ice in soft drink dispensers, use sanitizing solutions, stock all items used in Dairy Queen customer service area. Must be able to perform under pressure in a high volume DQ restaurant including moving and responding quickly for long periods of time. Travel quickly in customer service area as much as three times for each customer up to as many as 40 customers per hour of shift. Must be able to work in and out of different temperature ranges. Handling food/drinks/treats and food/drink/treat products constantly. Capability to stand for long periods of time. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Interact with the public and co-workers constantly during shifts. Must be able to read order monitors. Recall and communication of products and contents.
