Support Technician - Lewis Center Ohio

Job Description: We are seeking a Support Technician for a 3+month opportunity located in the Rushville Indiana. Solid possibility of longer term opportunities. Work performed will include: Providing IT Support for the Office, Manufacturing and Warehouse environments below. We want someone with no more than 12-18 months experience.

Installation/Troubleshooting PC/Network hardware and software





-

Installation/Troubleshooting various types of printers and scan guns.

Installation/Troubleshooting manufacturing and warehouse systems





-

Utilizing a IT Ticket System to manage customer calls and requests





-

Utilizing LanDesk as a Remote service to support end users





-

Utilizing VMWare as tool for Server related changes





-

Traveling back and forth with in three locations in Rushville.





Job Qualifications



- Must be willing to take a background test upon an offer being made



- 1-2 years experience working in the IT Field



- A+, certification a must



- Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software and network related problems



- Solid background providing hardware troubleshooting on Desktops and Laptops



- Strong hardware and network connectivity trouble shooting skills via phone and remote access



- Solid knowledge of Windows 7 operating system



- Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook 2010



- Uninstall/reinstall software



- Installing printer drivers



- Reset passwords



- Sophos software familiarity a plus



- Must have excellent communication, presentation and documentation skills.
