Position Overview Evoke Ohio is seeking a Clinical Supervisor to join our clinical substance use and behavioral health team. This is a full-time leadership position.The Clinical Supervisor assists with 24-hour management of clinical functions of the facility. They are responsible for assisting the Clinical Director to oversee and implement the organization's clinical departments. These professionals must come up with strategies to allow for continued growth and provide clinical training to their staff and interns. We are seeking Clinical Supervisors that can solve problems quickly and effectively using excellent critical thinking skills. An effective leader in this role will provide training, supervision and mentorship to the clinical staff. They will have knowledge of the organization and will support the clinical activities within the facility in accordance with standards of State and Federal regulations. Position Responsibilities Provides a safe and therapeutic environment to all staff and patients. Assists in formulating standards for patient care. Ethically sound when responding to cultural considerations of clients. Maintain safety of clients. Contribute to trauma informed environment. Reporting and responding to issues of Dual - Diagnosis issues of clients. Adheres to the facility's philosophy. Supervision and clinical oversight of staff clinicians and case managers. Maintains an effective clinical organizational structure and delegates appropriate authority for completion of assigned responsibilities. Provides for staff development (i.e. supervision, educational, etc.) Facilitates communication with ancillary services. Support Clinical Director with interviews and team development. Attends clinical and administrative meetings to share information inter-departmentally. Meets with clinical staff weekly. Supervises students completing a field placement Builds positive relationships with staff and physicians. Works collaboratively with the Executive Team. Demonstrates knowledge of administrative and clinical policies and procedures, and the ability to communicate these clearly and accurately to staff. Demonstrates knowledge of emergency procedures; ability to communicate these procedures clearly and accurately. Displays ability to direct and supervise Program activities. Maintains an effective and efficient daily staffing pattern within budgetary constraints. Ensures clinical staff meets educational/licensure requirements. Evaluates clinical staff based on specified performance standards, on a timely basis. Demonstrates adaptability and flexibility to changes in the work environment. Always follows Infection Control guidelines. Provides a safe and therapeutic environment to all staff and patients. Assists in formulating standards for patient care. Performs other tasks, as assigned. Position Requirements Demonstrates proficiency in communication, observation & written skills. Knowledge of State & Federal Statutes Regarding Patient Confidentiality laws. Knowledge of Drug-Free Workplace Policies. Knowledge of Workplace Violence. Knowledge of Corporate Integrity & Ethics Knowledge of addictions SRCC Ability to interact with a multi-disciplinary team to assist in facets of the recovery program relating to physical health. Knowledge of the 12-Step Recovery Program. Knowledge and competency in problem-solving, stress management, ethics, and team building. Knowledge of alcohol and other drugs that, includes Alcohol and addictive drugs and their physical, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual impact on the individual. Alcohol and addictive drugs and their impact on the family. Ability to determine if a medical emergency exists and to take appropriate action when necessary. Knowledge of emergency procedures used in case of alcohol and/or drug overdose. Knowledge of Federal, State, and Municipal laws and/or regulations that regulate the treatment of alcoholism and drug addiction, including Confidentiality, Patient Rights, Professional Code of Ethics, Discrimination Flexibility to adapt to schedule changes, and assumption of responsibilities not delineated in the job description which are related to work as a member of an addiction treatment team. Licensure, Education & Work Experience Licensure Requirement: LPC, LPCC, LSW, LISW, LCDC, LICDC, MFT, IMFT Graduation from an accredited college/university with master's degree in Social Work. Minimum of 4 years in behavioral health and substance use practice. Experience with quality improvement, and State of Ohio and/or Joint Commission standards.
